The Rubber Industry's Beijing Research & Design Institute has continued to work on laboratory safety in recent years to make sure that all the experiments are done safely and smoothly. It recently added a first aid station to the China National Tyre Quality Supervision and Inspection Center's chemical analysis lab to deal with toxic and dangerous work situations. If an operator's eyes or body accidentally come in contact with acids, alkalis, or other harmful or corrosive substances, the first aid station can immediately respond by washing them off to avoid further harm and minimize the amount of injury and protect operator safety.
